Description

Fresno State Preview Day is an engaging event designed to showcase the university’s academic programs, campus life, and opportunities for prospective students. Students will have the chance to explore academic offerings, meet faculty and current students, and gain insights into the Fresno State campus community. Join us on Saturday, March 21, 2026, for an exciting preview of Fresno State.

All students, regardless of sex, race, color, or national origin, who are interested in the program’s mission and focus are welcome to attend events hosted by Recruitment and Special Programs.

Questions & Answers

What time does Fresno State Preview Day start and end?: The event begins at 9:00 AM and will conclude around 2:00 PM. Detailed schedules will be provided upon arrival.
Where is the check-in location for Preview Day?: The check-in will take place at Fresno State Maple Roundabout, where you will receive your materials and agenda for the day.
Will there be a schedule provided?: Yes, an electronic schedule will be available upon check-in.
Is there a cost to attend Preview Day?: No. Fresno State Preview Day is a free event for prospective students and their families.
What should I bring with me to Preview Day?: We recommend bringing a notebook or digital device for taking notes, any specific questions you have, and comfortable shoes for walking around the campus.
Will meals be provided during the event?: Light refreshments may be provided, but we suggest you plan to have meals before or after the event. Dining options on campus will also be available for purchase.
Can I participate in campus tours without prior registration?: Yes, campus tours will be available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the day.
Are there breakout sessions I need to register for in advance?: Some workshops may require pre-registration due to limited seating, while others will be open for walk-ins. Please check the schedule for specific registration details.
Will there be opportunities to meet with academic staff?: Yes, academic staff will be available during the event for questions about specific programs and majors.
Is transportation provided to and from the parking areas?: While there will be designated parking, transportation to and from the parking areas will be provided for those who need it. Expect a short walk to the event location.

How do I find specific staff or faculty members at the event?: Staff and faculty members will be wearing badges and/or shirts identifying them as representatives. You can also ask at the information booth for assistance.
What should I do if I need assistance during the event?: You can approach any staff or volunteers wearing event identifiers for help. There will also be an informational booths available for questions.
Can I access the event schedule or materials online after Preview Day?: Yes, event materials and schedules will be available on the Fresno State website following the event for further reference.
